About Mountainheath

Mountainheath Services was founded in 1995 to provide specialised contract analysis to a wide range of industrial and service sectors interested in establishing or monitoring levels of chemical contamination in environmental samples, such as waters, soils and air.

Whilst the core expertise of the company remains the analysis of trace levels of organic contaminants in water, especially pesticides, the business has expanded into both inorganic and metals analysis as well as many other branches of organic chemistry, and now offers a truly comprehensive range of analysis. In addition to growing the range of analysis, the company has diversified into many different market sectors, such as food and drink and animal feeds. The geographic spread of the business has also been extended to support customers not only in the UK, but also throughout Europe and beyond.

We are however, a small, flexible business, and take pride in our ability to respond quickly and to tailor services to customer needs rather than offering only what is convenient or routine for the laboratory. Same day turnaround of results is not uncommon, and our R&D department is regularly involved in adapting existing methods, or devising new ones to cater for specific customer requirements.
